Books by the Bed
I posted the above image on my Instagram page last night. This is part of the shelving unit next to my bed. I've been trying to reorganize and get these books off of the floor:
and onto different shelves throughout the apartment:
In my family, we consider books to be a part of the basic necessities. I will buy books before art supplies. It is quite a challenge to live in a small space and try to have a library at the same time.
I've made the photos nice and big because I know that I'm not the only one who loves looking at what's on other folks' shelves. These are only the books within reach when I lie in by my bed.
I'm reading Where the Heart Beats: John Cage, Zen Buddhism, and the Inner Life of Artists by Kay Larson and loving every page.

This post in particular is cute to me because I am sitting in a pile of books myself. LOL

Thanks, Jeanne. :)
Two more books arrived today. I'm hopeless. ;)
