The Great Wall of Los Angeles

 

We've been looking for dog-friendly places to walk with Merci (my son's four-footed BFF.) Tristan searched for "parks" and asked if we had ever been to, "The Great Wall of Los Angeles." He told us it was a giant mural. We jumped in the car and this is what we discovered. (It's not a park but a mile and a half long mural viewed as you walk along the sidewalk.) The links below mention that funding was recently approved and that they will be adding to it (yay!)

I'll let the photos speak for themselves and add links below if you are as intrigued by this project and its history as I am.

The Great Wall of Los Angeles is located at 12900 Oxnard St, North Hollywood, CA 91606. There is plenty of street parking.
