This one was difficult to photograph. There are lots of layers beneath what you see. The reds sing and dance with the sunlight. I wish you could see it in person. 

More experiments in layering color. When I went to write this blog post, I realized that it would be a series. Guess what color will be next?!

Journal I made from hardcover book and 100 lb Accent Opaque cardstock size 13 1/4 x 20" opened

Acrylics: Holbein, Sennelier, Utrecht and Golden (heavy body)

Stabilo Aquarellable pencils

Painting knives
