Looking to the Past: Studying Edvard Munch

David showed me the Munch self portrait below. I didn't remember seeing it (though I had in 2017 at SFMoma.) This, of course, led me to pull out some of my Edvard Munch books today. 

One of my favorite books from the past year has been Karl Ove Knausgaard's So Much Longing in So Little Space. I have read the book and I've also listened to the audio version multiple times. It's a gem. 

I'll be looking revisiting Munch's work this week. He's one of my favorites and there's always still so much to learn...
