The Art Spirit: Juicy Living A Creative Smorgasbord Session TWO
at Pnina's NEW (and incredible) studio
10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

PLEASE NOTE: Each session stands on its own. Take one, or take all and you will walk away with fresh, new ideas, inspiration as well as unique and personal journal pages

Workshops are open to the public.

This fresh, new workshop teaches a variety of NEW ideas involving collage, creative processing, self expression, composition, design, layering, painting and much, much more.

My workshops are always about inspiring creativity, generating ideas and learning how to see. The ideas can be translated into a variety of art forms. Use your art journal "as is" or for a springboard of inspiration for other art forms and living a creative life!

Please note there is a small supply list.

More details will be sent upon registration.

Beginners to advanced are welcome in ALL of the classes.

  • decorative tape
  • stencils
  • pens and markers
  • gel medium
  • collage ephemera and much, much more.
I do not travel light to my classes at all.

Please bring your own journal and we will dive deep in layers of paper, paint and pen. Learn how to develop and nurture a sense of play and experimentalism on your pages. A workshop in creative growth and bringing out your creative mad (art) scientist.
Objectives in this workshop: new exercises in collage, mixed media techniques focusing on color, shape and texture.

Begin this session by diving in and explore layering in paper, paint and pen. Discover new ideas for collage and color. Unfold and unfurl on your pages as you discover new possibilities of creative expression.
“The object isn't to make art, it's to be in that wonderful state which makes art inevitable.”

Robert Henri, author of The Art Spirit, is one of my favorite artists, writers and creative individuals.

Every time I open up a copy of his book I discover a new gem that inspires me to create. I am a firm believer in the fact that inspiration is truly everywhere and that as humans we are driven to make and create.

“In every human being there is the artist, and whatever his activity, he has an equal chance with any to express the result of his growth and his contact with life. I don't believe any real artist cares whether what he does is 'art' or not. Who, after all, knows what art is?”

Immerse yourself in daily sessions of creativity and inspiration. Each session has a different focus. Fill page after page with luscious layers of paper, paint and pen. Using the key elements and principles of art in fun, fresh ways, you will learn new techniques for collage, mixed media, acrylic painting, journaling, color theory, composition, design and much, much more. Learn new ideas and techniques in creative self expression. Gain confidence in your work, know your tools and your capability to brainstorm and problem solve.

“The artist must be a student.”

As always, my class is geared towards beginner to advanced, there is something for everyone in this workshop. I have been keeping a journal for over 35 years and an art journal for 21 of those years. I am always trying to learn new ways, techniques and approaches to creating. There is always something new to learn and experience.

“The end will be what it will be. The object is intense living, fulfillment; the great happiness in creation.”

As always, should you have any questions, please feel free to email me at
