Home... for a Quick Minute
I had a wonderful time teaching in Arizona. Big thanks to Cheryl and Create Space Studio for hosting, to everyone who took a workshop with me this weekend and to my friends Debbie (Frenzy Stamper) and Jeane for letting me crash with them. It was a really nice weekend.
Now I'm home for a few days before I turn around and trek out to teach Expanding Your Color Palette in San Diego on Saturday and then back in L.A. for a workshop called In The Studio: Developing an Art Practice in Mar Vista on Sunday.
Next week, I'm trekking to teach at my friend Maria's studio in Fremont, CA on Saturday and Sunday. On Friday, I'm inviting anyone who takes one of the weekend workshops to join us on a shopping, art museum and all around creativity adventure in the San Francisco area (including the Rauschenberg exhibit at SFMoma, Japan Town and more.) Interested? Click here to sign up for the workshops or drop me an email.
I'm making plans now to trek to Sacramento on Thursday before I go to Maria's later that night. I really want to see the Richard Diebenkorn exhibit at the Crocker Museum. The museum is open late that night so I figure I'll get there about 3, spend some time there and then turn around and head to Fremont. An art adventure weekend! I'm really looking forward to it. These are just some of the things that I am thankful for...
