What I'm Reading
I am home from Art Unraveled. It was, as always, a great weekend with very good people. I always love seeing how people translate the ideas and techniques. Much gratitude to my students (always) as well as to Linda and the Art Unraveled team. Their hard work and dedication makes it such an inspiring week for all of us.
I am home and raiding my bookshelves. I have been having a hard time putting the Van Gogh book down.
Maria Lassnig's The Pen is the Sister of the Brush has some wonderful quotes. I haven't read much but I like what I have seen so far.
Seeing Ourselves: Women's Self Portraits is stunning and inspiring. I am eager to do more than just flip through it repeatedly.
Have you read any inspiring art books lately?
