What I'm Reading

I'm heading to Fremont today to teach this weekend. I'm trying to decide what book to bring: bios of Remedios Vara, Nora Joyce, a book on Carr, O'Keeffe and Kahlo or a whole (thin) book on Georgia O'Keeffe's library (I wish there were more books like this one. I love peeking at bookshelves.) Decisions... 

Looking forward to the weekend. This is my last "away" class until August. Usually I spend my summer traveling to teach but David's surgery has changed things around. Am hopeful that everything will still work out. I will be taking time off in late June through a good part of July because I don't know what the recovery period will be like for him. He has been active but last time it was the anesthesia that gave him the hardest time (after the problem itself.) Trying to stay focused, busy and positive. Art really does help and should be available as a prescription!
