Upcoming Classes at Scrampers in Torrance
I am really looking forward to returning to teach at Scrampers in Torrance. The store is HUGE with lots of fun goodies and an extremely large classroom space. I'll be teaching:
August 23rd An Artist's Playground
September 27th The Painted Book: An Exploration in Layers
November 22nd Here in My Head
December 13th Journey in Black and White
1309 Sartori Ave, Torrance, CA 90501
Each class is four hours in length.
Class time is 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The class fee is $80 per person (per class) which includes a vast array of mediums and materials to complete the necessary project. It is well known that I do not travel light to any of my classes. I will be bringing such things as:
- all materials necessary to complete the project (handmade paper, decorative paper, board, glue, etc...)
- bookbinding supplies (thread, awl, needles)
- rubber stamps
- ink pads
- decorative tape
- stencils
- pens and markers
- gel medium
- collage ephemera and much, much more.
I do not travel light to my classes at all!

Learn how to
combine your precious bits of ephemera into a truly one of a kind artist's
journal. Create a playground of self expression and discovery. You will learn
how to step back and see things in your artwork that you haven't noticed
before.
I have been working on this
class for over two years now and am very eager to share it with you. You will
be inspired in this class.
