A Menagerie of You

Join us in this special six hour workshop created specially for the Art Menagerie Group of Modesto, you will create a journal completely unique to you! Learn how to construct a journal from scratch using a fun and easy stitch. After you create the journal, you will then learn a wide variety of techniques (including but not limited to composition, design, color, pen work, collage, layering, stencil work, rubber stamping, tape layering, art journal techniques and much, much more) that can be applied to ANY art form. Walk out with your head spinning full of new ideas and ways to approach your art and creativity. Open to everyone.

Please note that Kelly does not travel light to her classes. She will have all materials necessary to complete the project including a wide variety of rubber stamps, pens, tape, collage ephemera, stencils and more for you to use in class.

Supply list: Scissors, small selection of favorite collage ephemera, bone folder, cork back metal ruler, roll of waxed paper OR magazines/catalogs to glue on, roll of paper towels OR an old rag, permanent black inkpad,  1" brush to glue (I like chip or bristle brushes), and a few of your favorite glue sticks.

Please note: Payments for the Modesto, CA workshop must be made in advance. Due to the fact that the teacher is traveling from Los Angeles and must prep for the workshops in advance, there are no cancellations allowed. No refunds. You may send someone else in your place if you are unable to attend the workshop, or you will receive a kit for the class.
