Happy Day!

This is one of my favorite pages. The colors, the patterns, the words and the emotions all blended together to perfectly sum up how I was feeling that day. I look at this page and think, "me." Tristan got the mail and (with my permission) excitedly ripped open the package from Stampington. Inside was my sample copy of Art Journaling magazine. He was very proud to see his Mom's artwork on the cover as well as the eight page article inside. It's a surreal experience having your work published. Not sure if it is one that I will ever get used to. I'm very thankful for it when it happens. Hopefully it will inspire more folks to crack open their journals and dive in.
