The Final Part of the 10 Minute Art Making Challenge

I stepped back from this page to see if there was anything else that I wanted to add to the page. It didn't take ten minutes for me to finish, more like two minutes. I added the gold dots to the X's along the top right corner of the page along with the cut out pink peace paper near the bottom right corner.

I hope that you enjoyed this series and that it has encouraged you to try your hand at making art more often. If you'd like to share and you have a blog, twitter, instagram, tumblr or flickr page, please post it in the comments section. I'd love to see what you've done! It may also help to encourage others to start making art in limited time spans. You'll see how these small moments add up quickly.

I've enjoyed your posts on art-on-a-time-budget, and also have a question. The picture on your 3-3-2013 post has a piece of tape(?)on the left edge that is like a gold/scrolly type pattern. Where do you get that? I've noticed it in a few of your pages(& in different colors), & it really adds to the effect. thanks.

I really got a lot out of your 10 minute challenge! I have been listening to you say "Just ten or 15 min." to people for years, and thought it never applied to me since I spend so much more than 10 min. on artwork everyday.

But as I said in my blog post, different work, works differently when it comes to satisfaction. Just because I'm working on something artistic (like the stencil design example I used), doesn't mean I'm spending time on the particular artistic pursuit that satisfies my soul.

After a very productive artistic day, I NEEDED that 10 min. After finishing everything else, what actually made me feel complete was the 10 min. I spent on the unfinished page.

@Bobbie Thanks! It's a sticker from Martha Stewart. They come in gold and white though I haven't seen the white in a long time and I'm hoping that they bring it back as it's my favorite.

BIG Thanks to everyone who keeps posting their pages and comments. For those of you who are leaving your blog, instagram, etc... info I'm leaving comments there. I hope that you are all inspired to keep at it! These are all wonderful!!!

I was very busy preparing for a jewelry show this week, and started following this project late, but be sure I have found my notes from "The Journal of You" that I never gave a real chance, and am already preparing, looking for images, and i can't wait to get started again! I think I may try the 10 minute project first, it just seems so freeing! Thank you for sharing this wonderful information and inspiration!
