Kelly Paper Plea
Most of my readers know that I've been using 140 lb Wausau Exact Index paper for almost all of my journals and classes for many, many years (the exception is when I make my journals from found papers.) The Wausau Mills shut down earlier this year. I was dismayed and I've been trying to find a suitable substitute for the 140 Exact Index ever since. I have not been happy at all with any of the papers that I have tried. Papers that my local Kelly Paper insist are a suitable substitute, I find them to be far inferior to the 140 Exact Index.
I'm asking that you consider taking a few minutes and email Kelly Paper (here) and ask that they consider carrying the 140 Neenah Brand Exact Index in both 8 1/2 x 11" and parent size sheets on a regular basis, NOT as a special order.
I want customers to be able to walk into the store and pick up a ream of 8 1/2 x 11" or order ten sheets of the parent size sheets and have them available the next day. Kelly Paper is only offering the Neenah Paper 140 Exact Index now as a special order which means you have to order a CASE of paper (500 sheets of the parent size!)
