A Page in Progress

Here's how the page started with collage first and then various layers of paint were eventually added:

I'm taking a quick break to write this post and here's what the page looked like when I left it:

I'll be spending my Monday afternoon finishing up the rest of this book. After this page, there's only one page left in my Compendium of Visual Delights Journal. I'll show you the finished page soon.

I'm quite eager to teach this class! I haven't taught a painting class in a very long time. This is going to be unlike any previous painting class I've EVER taught (and I've taught a LOT of painting classes!) We'll be combining collage (paper, tape, etc...) with  acrylics, gouache and watercolor along with other mediums (pens, markers, stickers, tape, stencils, transparencies, rub-ons, watercolor crayons and more!)

This is also the only mixed media painting and collage class that I have plans to teach at the moment. I have some other ideas on my plate that I want to focus on (that do not involve paint in any manner!)

I do not have plans to teach the class anywhere else at this time.

I hope to see YOU there!

Oh how I'd love to be present in this class. I've loved this journal since you starting sharing it. I'm sad to see it end. The colors are just yummy and I really love all the layers in it. I bet everyone in this class will have lots of fun.

Thanks, Sandy, for the kind words! I still have at least 12 pages (I think it is) left to post that you haven't seen yet. :) I'll be sharing all of them here!
