What You'll Find Here

I post daily (photos of my journal pages, things that inspire me and personal bits and pieces) to inspire and encourage others. I have always believed that if I can do it, so can you.

You'll find resources (my favorite supplies, books, slideshows of my art journal pages, favorite bloggers, etc...) listed along the right hand side of my blog.

I've been teaching both in person and online workshops for more than twenty years. You can find out more about my classes by scrolling down along the right hand side of my blog. I strive to make classes accessible to everyone (both beginner to advanced).

I love teaching and truly believe that deep down inside everyone is an artist, capable of creating something. There is power and knowledge in the act of creating something with your own hands, made from your own heart and head.

If you have any questions, please feel free to email me at EGorey99@sbcglobal.net

Thanks for stopping by!

Finished Journal Page from 18 June 2011

Above is the finished page that I teased you with yesterday. I like the simplicity of the page. It says what I want it to say. I used book and magazine pages, stickers and a white gel pen from Sakura.

Big thanks to those of you who purchased my sticker grabbags. I still have a few more left. I'll have them in the mail to everyone this week. Thank you.

I updated my class schedule for July and August. I have a small handful of classes locally in July but after that, I won't be teaching in So CA until mid to late September, so catch the classes while you can! I will be traveling to No CA, CO, AZ, MA and NY this summer. All of the information is here:

If you have any questions, you can email me. To sign up, please contact the store or venue. Don't wait too long with some classes as they may fill up fast.

Happy Father's Day to my Dad and to my husband, David. I love you both very much! It was a quiet day at home today, which was just what David wanted (well, that and some spaghetti).

I love this page, esp. your handwriting. Sounds like you're going to be traveling this summer. It's sounds fun to me. Glad David had a great Father's Day. That's basically what we did too.

Great page, Kelly, as always. I feel like that is what I say every time I comment and you have to get tired of hearing that same thing from me. lol But still, it's true...your pages are always great and inspiring to me.
BTW, I've been meaning to thank you...in the two online workshops I've taken from you, I have learned so much. I realize it even more every time I begin a journal spread/page or a collage...I even look at images differently now, thanks to you. I just felt that I needed to thank you again today...you inspire me.
Peace & Love,
