What You'll Find Here

I post daily (photos of my journal pages, things that inspire me and personal bits and pieces) to inspire and encourage others. I have always believed that if I can do it, so can you.

You'll find resources (my favorite supplies, books, slideshows of my art journal pages, favorite bloggers, etc...) listed along the right hand side of my blog.

I've been teaching both in person and online workshops for more than twenty years. You can find out more about my classes by scrolling down along the right hand side of my blog. I strive to make classes accessible to everyone (both beginner to advanced).

I love teaching and truly believe that deep down inside everyone is an artist, capable of creating something. There is power and knowledge in the act of creating something with your own hands, made from your own heart and head.

If you have any questions, please feel free to email me at EGorey99@sbcglobal.net

Dreaming of Paris ...

I started this journal page last night (I'll show you the finished page soon). All I'm doing is dreaming of a trip to Paris. I want to go so badly! I want to write in my journal under a tree, any tree as long as it's in France. I want to eat bread, milk, cheese and fruit daily and spend hours walking it off. I want to take it all in. I want to walk the streets in the rain holding my husband's hand. For now, I have my journal and my dreams.

Oh Happy Day is sponsoring an extremely generous contest. Don't delay (deadline is the 20th)! Visit here for more info:

Bonne Chance!

I dream of a European trip. I hope that's the right spelling. I'm too tired to look it up. One day maybe we'll make it there. Randy and I talk about it all the time. Where we'd love to go. How long it would take because he'd have to stop for photos of everything and we'd never get to see much of anything in time. lol. You have to have dreams don't you? Thanks for the link.

My longing is for Italy over Paris, but I understand what you mean.

Friends of mine wanted to go somewhere special to celebrate a 50th birthday and had been to Paris only 2 years before. When they asked themselves "where would they like to go as much as Paris?" the answer was no where, so they went to Paris again!

LOVE the flower on your page!

And yes, I drool over and yearn for Paris. I've never been, and can't go now for a ton of reasons. Not the least of which is that I know if I went, I'd never come back. And there's just too much keeping me here at the moment. But someday....
