What You'll Find Here

I post daily (photos of my journal pages, things that inspire me and personal bits and pieces) to inspire and encourage others. I have always believed that if I can do it, so can you.

You'll find resources (my favorite supplies, books, slideshows of my art journal pages, favorite bloggers, etc...) listed along the right hand side of my blog.

I've been teaching both in person and online workshops for more than twenty years. You can find out more about my classes by scrolling down along the right hand side of my blog. I strive to make classes accessible to everyone (both beginner to advanced).

I love teaching and truly believe that deep down inside everyone is an artist, capable of creating something. There is power and knowledge in the act of creating something with your own hands, made from your own heart and head.

If you have any questions, please feel free to email me at EGorey99@sbcglobal.net

WIP Journal page

Winds are howling in La La Land tonight. I'm expecting the Wicked Witch of the West to fly by any second now.

I have a big announcement in the morning! It's not a surprise, but I'm looking forward to trekking there next month.

Busy as a bee here. The work above is the 'before' shot. I'll show the after a.s.a.p.

Lots of ideas bubbling and brewing. I need time to experiment and think them through. Busy at the moment trying to plan classes for the rest of 2011. My only beef of teaching the way I do is having to plan so far in advance. It can be an odd feeling booking and prepping so many months in advance and thinking about later instead of now. Not complaining, just stating a fact! :)

Teaching at Zinnia this Friday. Hope to see you there!

David and I have been watching La Commune. It's a long, fascinating film that I'd recommend. It's extremely timely with what's going on worldwide at the moment.

I made whole wheat bread from scratch tonight (yes, I used my really big bowl). I also prepped cinnamon bread for the morning. Yum!

Don't forget that Tuesday, March 8th is International Women's Day! Stand strong! Stand proud! Stand together!

As a kid I loved Hellen Reddy! Now, years later I know why...
