Where do you find inspiration?

Do you see what I see?

I see color.

I see pattern.

I see texture.

I see line.

I see shape.

I see translating this imagery onto my journal pages using any of the following:

Paint
Paper
Tape
Pens
Imagination

Keep your eyes open. You never know where or when inspiration will strike. Don't forget to look down, too.

I also see the house of my aunt in a little village in the Polish mountains - she had such textiles on the floor, which were store-bought, but she also had some that she crocheted from old clothes cut into strips.
So many places to find inspiration! (Like your blog, which I read whenever a new post appears :)

And don't forget to look up! I see texture and patterns more than I realized, now that I do art journaling. I have always loved color and design...I get inspiration from these and from the sky and nature. My love of taking walks has grown because I take my camera and translate nture's beauty into handcarved stamps, journal pages, fabric hunts...♥Kathy
