Happy New Year!!!

My first blog post of a brand spanking New Year! 1/1/11!

In the coming year, I wish you:
Happiness, Good Health, Peace, Kindness, Love, Lots of time to make art (or whatever makes you happiest), Time to Relax and Ponder, and all things Good and Wonderful.

Some quick journaling prompts for the New Year:

1. Take a quickie self portrait. Use your camera, or use your words! What do you see in yourself on this first day of 2011.

2. Who are you looking forward to being with in the New Year? Who are you leaving behind?

3. Many artists pick a word to carry with them in the New Year. Pick a word if you'd like. What about picking a color? What color makes you happiest? Wear a bit of that color daily or when you're feeling down. Make a journal devoted to your 2011 color. Explore, expand and see how far you can push it.

4. Did you find your 15 minutes a day yet? Seek it out...

In the time that it took you to read this, you could have started a page...go for it.
