What You'll Find Here

I post daily (photos of my journal pages, things that inspire me and personal bits and pieces) to inspire and encourage others. I have always believed that if I can do it, so can you.

You'll find resources (my favorite supplies, books, slideshows of my art journal pages, favorite bloggers, etc...) listed along the right hand side of my blog.

I've been teaching both in person and online workshops for more than twenty years. You can find out more about my classes by scrolling down along the right hand side of my blog. I strive to make classes accessible to everyone (both beginner to advanced).

I love teaching and truly believe that deep down inside everyone is an artist, capable of creating something. There is power and knowledge in the act of creating something with your own hands, made from your own heart and head.

If you have any questions, please feel free to email me at EGorey99@sbcglobal.net

Thanks for stopping by!

2 October 2010 journal page

Pull back the transparency:
I did the above page and the next few pages while at Hollywood Park Race track with David and Tristan. I parked my butt down and worked in my journal all day (quite happily) while the boys watched the races. I did watch the big race and cheered Zenyatta on.
Teaching this weekend locally! I have one favorite class and one class to debut! Saturday, I am at Zinnia teaching my Addicted to Tape class for the last time of 2010! Catch it while you can! I'm VERY excited about teaching my NEW collage class, Made By Hand: The Fundamentals of Collage, at Stampin From The Heart in L.A. on Sunday. Questions? Please email me! To sign up, please contact the stores. I hope to see you there!

I appreciate the shipping dilemma as I am greatly intrigued by Uppercase mag, but the shipping is as much as the magazine...not happening...

Hi Maxine, Not sure where you are, but Uppercase is available in some shops in the U.S. and elsewhere.
I have a subscription to it and the shipping cost is included in it. It's well worth the money. It's really the only art magazine that I read now and absolutely love.

hey, Kelly, thanks for the link to my Etsy-sellers post! I'm so irritated that Etsy does such a large amount of changes that they don't ever tell sellers about. thanks again!!
