11 July 2010 journal page

Here I am. Art Unraveled 2010. Friends are here. My boy is with me. It's hotter then hell outside but in the hotel, it's nice and cool and the paint is flying (or will be later on tonight!).

Martha's the best! How cool are these?!?
This may be the best post ever. If you love chocolate and peanut butter, you'll thank me. I didn't lick the screen, though I was seriously tempted. More than once.
I. Love. This. "How To Be Alone". LOVE. This. Best video ever.

Are people really unable to be alone with themselves?
I disagree with her going to a club.
I've been to concerts by myself several times and all it's done is seem to attract creepy men who ask me to party with them in the parking lot.
Have you looked at me? I'm the effin' straightest person on the block & somehow I get idiots that invite me to drugs with them.
I stopped going to concerts alone after my 3rd time being bothered.
I miss concerts.

Thank you, thank you, thank you for bringing our attention to that amazing video. I immediately sent it to both of my daughters with a request that they watch it as soon as possible and just bask in the gentle joy it evokes.

I just wanted to say thank you so much for posting that video. I just got out of a long term relationship a couple months ago and have been having trouble with the transition and I really needed this message.

Oh my Kelly, thank you so much for sharing that video! I love it so and the message was what I needed to hear tonight, finding myself here alone without my family around. You are a blessing! :)

I wanted to Thank You for such a wonderful class at AU and am looking forward to seeing you (and your talents) more often. Oh, and I got some thread to make more journals! I will post about your class this week and let you know when the link is up.
