First page in my new journal
Here's a glimpse into my new journal. The inside cover page and the first page- My sister had a family get together yesterday. We all had a great time. Here's a picture of my Dad and two of his siblings-Aunt Sis and Uncle Joe-My cute cousin Andrea playing Guitar Hero-My sister and I-One thing I don't like about traveling is that it seems that the days go by very quickly. Sad when you only see your family once in awhile.
I love your journal's Kelly...I am about to begin my first one and I just wanted you to know I will check your work often for inspiration...Thanks,Diane
I have not read the book yet but want to. Is it really good? The movie is NEVER as good as the book, which is why I always read the book first then see the movie.

Hey Kelly, I haven't seen the movie - a part of me really doesn't want to bc it can't possibly be as good as the book. It's one of my all-time faves. Thanks for recommending it!!
The photos of your family are great. I know what you mean about visits being too short.
I've read the book but haven't seen the movie yet. I want to see it but will bring lots of Kleenex.
And for Outstanding Stranger who left a comment.....you can look to Kelly for inspiration for sure and you will find it but until you've taken one of her classes you won't know the joy in what she teaches you and how much you will find inside yourself to put on that paper. Try out the online class it's great!
The book is on my top 5 list (and I read a lot!) and I don't want to have the book ruined for me by the movie. As I am a papermaker, the main reason I'd like to go is to see papermaking in a movie but I'm told that it is only in the movie very briefly. Take tissue, if you go! :)
