journal page from 4/11/09 and a glimpse into my art area
Here's a glimpse into my corner of the living room...Yup, that's where I sit and play!
See the black and white bag under my journal to the left? That's my art bag. All of my collage crap is in it. I don't work from a box or anything else. I work from THAT bag. I pull out what I want to work with and piece it all together. My new Maya Made buckets are in the right corner. I have one filled with scissors, ruler, glue, etc...Um, do you think I have enough tape-two big pants hangers full, a wire mesh container full...

It's nice to see that other people create in real spaces, not just those luxurious studios you see in the magazines.
I have a bag at my feet full of tape. I will try to bring that one in May to show you. It has all of my masking tape. I also have a big black metal bin that is filled with tape-filled, overflowing. It's insane, really. I also put a crap load of new tape from my collection into the class bag.
