I could write a book on horror books to read. They were always my books of choice at the library when I was little up into my early adulthood...speaking of zombie films, zombie books-oooohhh go read anything by Max Brooks. World War Z is frickin' amazing.

For the kid in me-

It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown!

Mad Monster Party!

Fat Albert's Halloween

Dude! Cemetery Man is a zombie movie, so is Dead Alive by Peter Jackson! You must be a closet zombie fan. I Love Zombies! I would like to add Prince of Darkness by John Carpenter, Dumplings by Fruit Chan, Re-Animator by Stuart Gordon, and anything by George Romero.

I rememeber driving to see the witch's house years ago, but now it looks really witchy. What happened to it?

If you could get 2 movies for teenagers 13 and 15 years old which ones would you recommend? Not too bloody, a little funny, but pretty darn scary.

Catherine

P.S. Have the best birthday ever!!! You don't need too much money to have fun! XOXO
Happy Halloweenie Kelly! I am also a Tim Burton/Nightmare before Christmas fan.

Oh my I would outbid you on that house it is to die for!!! imagine the interior! I love quirky houses like this.
That sure is one list of films... I don't do horror films now, used to but I do like Jeepers Creepers and one of the scariest mini series I ever saw was in the 70's called "..Crowhaven Farm" that freaked me out lol. And the Hammer hOuse of Horror and Thriller (on British TV )had some scary stuff too, my heart started thumping at the theme tune :-)
I like your list. Here are a few more spooky films I enjoy for a dark and stormy night: Halloween, The Sixth Sense, Interview With the Vampire, Bell Book and Candle (practically as old as the original Haunting), The Witches of Eastwick, Alien, The Exorcist, Seven, Sleepy Hollow, Edward Scissorhands, and Silence of the Lambs. I also remember liking Something Wicked This Way Comes, though I haven't seen it in years. Not very scary, but The Ghost and Mrs. Miniver was a childhood favorite too.
LOL... sounds like you had a *great* birthday !!! Yay... you deserve it! :) You forgot Hellraiser! I picked that up, as well as Interview with the Vampire today... not pre-teen friendly, but I'll have fun watching them all over again... :)

Hugs,
Adriane
