You asked, so here it is - my "other" carry-on:
Yes, that's my journal (undecorated cover) and two glue sticks on the top. The rest of the bag is filled entirely with paper:
I told ya I'm a paper whore. LOVE it.
Tristan and I are home safe and sound after an extremely long day of flying yesterday (and no sleep the night before). The flight was bumpy and long (We fly out of Providence. Surprisingly the flight was PVD to Baltimore (!!!-over an hour with the weather) then Baltimore to Los Angeles (UGH Six hours on the plane)). Amazingly, Tristan slept the minute the plane took off in Rhode Island at 7:45 a.m. and then slept most of the flight from Baltimore to LAX. The trip must've worn him out.
We arrived home after 1:30 yesterday and shortly thereafter trekked out to Pasadena. My first stop was Zinnia to drop off samples for May. Tamara has the store beautifully decorated (I would love a studio that looks like the store-it is gorgeous!!), as always! Lots of new stuff in stock-lots of fun goodies. I picked up lots of new papers, Hambly rub ons and paper-YUM. Tamara also recommended a pizza place around the corner-Mama's Brick Oven Pizza (somethin' like that) on Fair Oaks. The decor wasn't up to par (LOL-it was like all of the pizza places I ate at as a kid) but the pizza was good (when Tristan wasn't wearing it). After that we hit Mimio's (didn't buy anything-I was good), Dick Blick (I bought a pen and 4 sheets of Cavallini & Co.-the older designs-paper), Barnes and Noble (no purchases) and lastly, Paper Source (ouch! ouch! Ouch! The wallet!!! That damn store is dangerous. LOL. I love it.) Lastly, we hit the grocery store (closer to home). I was in bed by 10 and thoroughly exhausted.
It was a good visit, albeit a short one. I miss my family already!! I highly recommend a visit to The Stamp Act Store in Marshfield, MA if you are ever in the Boston area. It's well worth the trip.
I'm off to do the least fun thing after traveling: unpacking. Ugh.

I never 'seal' my pages with anything so whatcha see is whatcha get-glue on the back of the ephemera only.
Hope this helps :)
