This is one of my Avant Garde Journal books. I taught it yesterday at Paper Post in Agoura Hills.

It's one of my most favorite books I have ever made. It's also one of my students' favorites, right Lou Ann? Lou Ann has taken the class 3 x now. She's also shared her journals that she made in my classes-it is always amazing for me to see the "before and after". Afterwards, the journal
is her.

It's always fascinating to me that people can create something in a class, take it home and make it them. It's why I teach. I want everyone to realize that they are creative, they are artists. Everyone has a talent that is unique to them. You need to find that talent and nurture it.
