Books beside my bed:
The Great American Broadcast by Leonard Maltin (old time radio shows galore-whee!)
Archie comic books-well,various "Jughead" titles, 4 of them (YES, they are MINE-have been reading Archie since I COULD read ;))
Walking in Circles-Rita McNamara-read it and LOVED it
Joan Snyder book-love love love her artwork
Moonlight Chronicles-Dan Price-am looking for more of these-anyone have any to sell/trade?
Danny Gregory's Creative License-love it!
Twyla Tharp's book on creativity
then there is a whole pile I can't see the names from where I am sitting at the computer
in actuality, there are at least 50-70 books piled up around my bed and that does not include the 3 bookcases on my hubby's side LOL

Oh... so glad to know I'm not the ONLY one with a book acquisition problem... LOL! :) Guess where we're going this evening? Barnes & Noble... *sigh* Indian for dinner and then the bookstore... I lead such an exciting life!

I too have 3 bookcases in my room (finally!) and have many books piled high on my nightstand as well as a basket on the floor... the linen cabinet in the bathroom... in my purse... on my desk and it in its hutch... good grief... is there *any* place that I don't have a book?! (Don't answer that...)

The Twyla Tharpe book you mention was in my hand the other day, but I put it back because I got several others... maybe tonight? :) I've known of her for years, way back when I was flexible enough to take jazz dance lessons (and used to purchase Dance Magazine). She rocks.

I made a special trip to the Art Bar last weekend just so that I could pick up Visual Chronicles by Linda Woods and Karen Dinino (aka Sisters on Sojourn). Great book... in fact, I like it better than Sabrina Ward Harrison's latest book "The True and the Questions" which left me feeling like she was riding on two horses with one butt (my Hungarian' mum's "proverb"). Fortunately, no palm trees toppled over onto parked cars this visit... did I tell you about that? What a trip that was! Kaboom! Palm tree just comes kerashing down into the road... flattens a little white Honda parked next to it and blocks the intersection... by the time we'd finished eating brunch at The Gypsy Den, it was all gone... the tree... the car... Amazing. And it was on a Sunday, too.

Oooo... I also picked up one of those nifty Pilot Parallel pens (I now have all FOUR of them). If you haven't tried 'em yet, you MUST give 'em a whirl, especially the tip-to-tip ink blending... did I tell you it was ALMOST better than sex?! Heck... who am *I* kidding... it definitely IS better. ;)

BTW... remember that tattoo I told you I wanted to get? I booked the appointment... so on March 7th, at around 4PM, think of me... or come and hold my hand... it's gonna be a BIG tattoo... and no one will EVER see it (since I've retired my 2-piece bathing suits)... how twisted is that?!

Well... I'm off to the TJ's... As Tigger would say... TTFN... -Ad
