Sorry for the lack of updates. David's cystoscopy found a tumor in his kidney Monday night. We're waiting for the results. He was in the hospital for three days. He's back in his own bed now and quite happy to be home where he can sleep and rest. We don't have any answers yet and there are lots of challenges and new things to adjust to.
I want to thank everyone who bought one of my books or ordered a set of collage sheets. Truly. Deeply. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. It has been extremely difficult to get the work done that I am so desperately behind on. Your orders, your kind words and love are greatly appreciated. Thank you. Some folks have asked if I will do digital downloads of the collage sheets. Yes. I have added them to the link above. Thanks for your interest.
We are housebound until the next doctor's appointment. David still has his catheter, stent and there is still bleeding and clotting it's so we are very limited with where we can go. I am learning and trying to give as much as I can when he needs me. It's definitely an interesting journey.
I am teaching this Sunday at Designing Letters in Mar Vista and next weekend at Pnina Gold's Studio in San Diego. There's space in both classes. I still have plans for my classes in Northern California, New York City, Maryland. I'm trying to find some time to finalize my summer schedule as well. Teaching is one of my rocks and keeps me grounded. I love my students dearly.
The above page is one of my favorite pages from this journal. I love how I was able to bounce ideas between my own work and the artist who inspired this journal. There is always so much to learn...
