Embrace Autumn and her wild array of color.
Look back at old artwork to discover fresh, new ideas. There is much to explore in our past work.
You will then utilize those ideas, working hands on with collage and paint all while exploring a vivid palette of crisp fall colors.
Upon registration, I will send some easy and inspiring homework to get you ready and excited about our creative session together.
Keep
your materials simple:
- scrap paper/journal/substrate of choice
- tools: brushes, painting knife/catalyst tool/credit card paper towels, water container (to clean your brushes)
- paint (I'm using acrylic in a small handful of colors)
- collage materials, adhesive, ruler/scissors, rag/paper towels, something to glue on
- mark making/writing tools: pencils, paint markers, etc...
Upon registration, you'll receive an email with some ideas on how to prep for the workshop.
Can't make the live workshop?
The
main part of my workshops are always recorded. For those who are camera
shy, during the main part of the workshop I am pinned and students are
muted (but, encouraged to unmute and ask questions!)
Additionally,
before and after the session, there is time for students to ask
questions, share, and engage with each other and me, WHILE NOT BEING
RECORDED.
You'll receive a special link and an extensive class handout within 2 days after the workshop ends.
You'll also have access to me should you have any questions AFTER the workshop ends.
Enrollment for the live workshop is limited.
I like to keep the group small so everyone has time to ask questions and share.
