Prep Work for France

I've been immersing myself in all things French for the past few months as I prepare for my workshop and trip there in June 2019.

French films. (Watching Eric Rohmer at the moment.)

French music.

(Serge Gainsbourg and Michel Legrand are in rotation on my playlists.)

Studying the French language (using Duolingo so far.)

Reading whatever I can get my hands on about France. I've been reading John Baxter and Rick Steves

I made the used and indie bookstore rounds the last week and picked up two books:

Do you have any recommendations or ideas for a trip of a lifetime, my first time visiting France? (David is especially looking for recommendations of bookstores to find rare and out of print film books. I am studying my piles of Van Gogh books as I prepare to walk in his footsteps...)

By far my favorite place to be.....I have made lots of trips all over France and highly recommend it. Where exactly in France are you going to be?
