My Favorite Books of 2016

Many of my blog readers already know that 2016 was a shit-show for my family (as well as for quite a few people that I know.) 2017 is here and we're determined on focusing on the here and now...

In the art department in my home, however, it was stellar. It was a year to find solace, comfort and refuge in art (that includes books and film.) Several hospital stays, long waiting room visits and being a caretaker (yay for David sleeping a lot!) gave me some added time to read.

Thanks to my family and friends, local used bookstores (yay for trade-in credit) and gift certificates, David and I were kept sane with books last year.
