I've had him pose every year since pre-kindergarten for a photo in front of our apartment. I'm still surprised that he let me walk him to take the next photo this morning (yes, wearing his obligatory first day Aquaman t-shirt.) He's excited. We're excited. Looking forward to seeing what this semester brings for him!

How exciting - Great good luck, Tristan! I can barely remember my 27-y.o. daughter's first days of school. I thought I was doing good saving the official school photos, lol. Very impressed and envious that you have a yearly record, Kelly. Since first-day photos are now all the rage (thanks, social media), you definitely saw that one coming. xoxo, Aimeslee

My parents used to take photos of my sister and me on our first day standing by the front door. I had to continue the tradition. :)
