Candy! I mean New Tape!

I've been going through tape withdrawal for months. In my travels this summer I was looking for stencils (I found LOTS of those), new books/magazines (for both reading and collage purposes) and TAPE. The tape proved to be quite elusive this summer. I'm not sure if it was because I either already had a lot of the rolls that the stores I was teaching in sold or what the story was. I've been waiting to find something new and different.

I bought the bottom row of tape first. They're from Freckled Fawn. I like them and I've already used a couple of them in my work.

The top row arrived yesterday from Paper Plus Cloth on Etsy and I can't stop looking at them. It was like Christmas when that box arrived. I tore it open. I was meeting a friend in the morning for some catching up time (and art journaling) and thankfully, she was a little late as I would've been late because instead of going in the shower and getting ready, I was going through and drooling over the tapes. I've used one of the rolls in my recent work:

I should be cleaning but my art journal (and that tape) is calling to me.

Having recently found Paper Plus Cloth, I believe they have the most beautiful and beautifully curated collection of washi I've seen. Of course one wants it all. If I wait a while, the top choices usually announce themselves. I can so appreciate your delight with new goodies. xo
