Bringing Home the Goods: Arizona

Had great groups of people in all of my classes this weekend. Big time thanks to everyone who came out for the classes.

I did a little shopping while I was in town. The loot above is from The Occasional Artist. Folks think that because I live in Los Angeles, I have access to a ton of supplies. It's been several years since we lost our stores. Sure, I have Dick Blick, Nova Paint and Graphaids which are wonderful when I need to buy supplies for classes but when I need stencils, tape, stamps, paper, rub-ons, etc... I don't have any local options. When I know I'm going somewhere to teach, I start saving my pennies. This is why I manage to do damage when I trek to AZ, NY, Northern CA, MA, NM, CO, etc... Sadly, I can't get this stuff at home any more.

Fabulous haul! We're so lucky in Colorado Springs to have Blue Twig Studio - dangerous territory. I'm sorry you have to travel so far for the extra goodies. Shipping's a hard price to pay, too.
