So happy that it's Friday especially since Tristan has all of next week off! I've been looking forward to it for awhile now. I love it when my boy is home! No definite plans for Thanksgiving yet (probably just a quiet day at home. I really want to try to keep myself busy that day.) 

I'm really looking forward to my class on Sunday especially since it's one of my most favorite new classes to teach (it's a go and there's still space available.) 

Hoping to catch the Kubrick exhibit at LACMA very soon. I'm also making plans to try to catch the Quay Brothers exhibit in New York City before it closes. Has anyone been to either one yet?

Yeah, someone said that LAUSD may be trying to "make up" (whatever that means) for the late end to school and early beginning. :P Either way, I'm happy he has the week off though I'd rather school start later in the year than earlier. ;P

Erin, I forgot the teachers have to take furlough days this week. :P (sucky for the teachers and definitely not right!)

Hi Kelly! I went and saw the Kubrick and Caravaggio exhibits last week and were not disappointed! Kubrick was absolutely amazing..you could literally spend hours in there and not see everything on display..My favs were the exhibits for 2001 and The Shining. Definately a must see !
