My Latest Journal

I gutted a hard cover book for my latest journal. I didn't do anything special to it other than I removed the pages and sewed new ones in. I added a photo to the cover and a Buddha charm. I'm almost done with this one already (I started it August 30th) but I'll be sharing all of the pages here on my blog with you.

I'm all prepped and ready for my workshops in Northern California! If you see a redhead with the music blaring (probably this or this), singing at the top of her lungs, it's probably me. There's still room in the workshops. Here's a link to some of my favorite places in Berkeley and San Francisco.

My next few posts will be while I'm on the road!

Love this one!

Just out of curiosity - why replace the pages instead of just altering on top of them?

@Merrick thanks. I have done both. It depends on my mood. I wanted to sew pages in with a certain stitch with this book, so that's what I did.

Interesting -- I was really just curious.
