19 January 2011 Journal Page

I swear that blogger has gone completely bonkers. It keeps posting my photos upside down when they are right side up. I keep having to fix them. I apologize!

My new online class, Journey of You (or J.O.Y.) is in full swing. I love seeing what people create with the prompts, techniques and ideas. I love when people post to the group, sharing their own pages and how they worked things out on the page, expressing what worked and what didn't work for them. I always say that I have the BEST students and I MEAN IT!

I loved using bits and pieces of rub ons on this page. I love the pink WAIT in the bottom right corner and the frame around the blue girl. I love the act of unfolding onto the pages. My pages wouldn't feel like me if I didn't journal and use my own writing to express what I feel needs to be said on the pages. My journals are visual documents of me and how I view the world around me. Isn't that what a journal should be? A document of your own personal musings and self expressions.

Happy Weekend, folks!

J.O.Y. has been tremendous - you've done such a good job setting it up! Hopefully, I'll post something soon.

I was really hoping to see you at Zinnia today, but I guess it wasn't in the stars. We'll keep trying! LOL.
