Spring or Summer?

I'm not a hot weather fan. At. All. I am a Fall Girl. I can even be a Spring Girl but not on days like today when the thermometer is pushing 90 plus. Yuck.

All that said, I had an awesomely cool day teaching at Zinnia in So Pasadena (check out the mushrooms!!! You should see them in person!). Thanks to Tamara, Suki, my fabulous students and Ms. Alley! Most awesome day!!

I'm on overdrive prepping for my classes next weekend at Frenzy Stamper in Scottsdale, AZ. I'm excited. Can you tell?!??!

Please, please, please if you read one thing all month, let it be this. Please pass it on, too:

Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU for posting this!!! This spoke to me at a time when I've been struggling a bit.

And I am the same as you: a fall girl. Can't stand the summer heat. Love the spring air, BUT I know it leads to summer so it depresses me a little. *SIGH*

Great article, Kelly...thanks for the link.
And remember...I'd be happy to trade you this snow & cold for some of your sunny SoCal heat any day!

Kelly,

Thanks so much for the Austin Kleon article link. What a great inspiration. Plus I'm now a fan of his Newspaper blackout poetry What fun!

I'm definitely not a fan of the heat, so the question is, WHY do I live in FL??? I love the fall. The changes in the trees, Halloween, cool nights, my birthday (Oct). The best month to be in FL is November.

Cheers!
D in FL :D currently fighting vicious hordes of mosquitoes
