April 3, 2011 journal page

I was so caught up in the journal page that I totally forgot to take a before and after picture. I made the above page on the right in one sitting. It's composed of many layers: rub-ons, tissue paper, background paper, focal image, transparency, tape, journaling, etc... (Thank you, Tracy, for the quote!)

I am almost done with all of my Frenzy Stamper prep work. I need to get gel medium and print out handouts. I spent most of today cutting paper and board. Looking forward to teaching the classes, all five of them are brand new!! People are always shocked when I tell them that I have over 400 classes. I love it, though!! There's a thrill of discovery and an exhilarated feeling when you take your favorite materials and push them in new and different ways.

I can't remember whose blog I found this on (I apologize). I have long dreamed of a script typewriter. Prices are insane, though! Here's a link to a free script/cursive typewriter font. How fun is this?!?!?

I can so relate the new page. Especially here in Colorado with the iffy spring weather - let me OUT! Lori from Art Camp for Women.
