Mysterious alphabet/number set

I haven't forgotten about the contest winner. It's coming! Stay tuned. I'm still playing catch up.

The above picture is from one of my oldest rubber stamp alphabet and number sets. I bought it on ebay over ten years ago. It's several sets of rubber sheets and long wooden pegs with alphabet and numbers on the end. I have no idea what it originally was, but I loved it and bought the set to use in my art. I thought that the inside of the box was cool and that you might enjoy seeing it.

Yesterday's post was about magazines. Tonight, I tore up my last two Frankie magazines. I also cut up the latest Somerset Studio. I saved one article in the lettering section, Danita's art and the entire Melange section was pretty cool. I bought the magazine specifically for the article on Sarah Ahearn Bellemare, whose work I adore.

I'm so glad that I'm not the only one to cut up my Somersets! It took me a long time, but I pretty much do it with great abandond now!
