30 January 2010 journal page

I had a kick ass time at Frenzy Stamper in Scottsdale this weekend. LOVE teaching there. I LOVE it. Check out Debbie's pictures from the weekend here. I'll see you guys again in April!

The quotes on the above pages are from The Optimism of Uncertainty by Howard Zinn.

The final day and class, Spirit Journal was the most challenging, thus the most interesting for me. I learned several new techniques and spent some time reflecting on my own spirituality. Since I refuse to let anyone tell me what to do, my spirituality must be examined frequently. LOL. Thanks Kelly this was good for me, a deep class.

I have a GREAT idea. Why don't you contact Spokane Art Supply and see if they will sponsor a workshop? Huh, huh????

That would be sooooooooooo cool!

Love all your work!

And hey - if they wouldn't put you up, I would, and I'm way fun!

Dear Kelly, I have a couple of questions regarding your classes..
*Are any of them offered online
*If so is it too late to sign up and can I go at my own pace? My only craft time is the weekend as I spend the rest of the week sleeping and working night shift as a nurse.
I really enjoy your blog and all your work. Living in a small town makes it hard to find any classes so I always search blogs for ideas but I would greatly appreciate the guidance of a class.
Thanks for your time and have a great day.

Lori, It was awesome seeing you again! Thank you so much for spending the weekend at Frenzy and trekking so far down from CO to take workshops!

Adrienne, most awesome idea. Thank you! I will look into it!!! :) You rock!!!

Brenda,
If you go to my blog-on the top right hand side of the page, I have two classes-
A Life Made By Hand which goes Jan through June of this year. It's $50 for 6 months.
A Prompt A Day which I offered last year. It's $25 per month. The December class is still up and will remain up. Additional month's pdfs are $25 per month.
BOTH classes are work at your own pace. The new class is work at your own pace and NOTHING has a date on it, so that means it's not specific to any time period (I did that with both classes-none of the prompts relate to any specific date. For example, December 25th's prompt was not about Christmas).
If you have ANY questions, please email me.
Best and thanks,
Kelly
