What You'll Find Here

I post daily (photos of my journal pages, things that inspire me and personal bits and pieces) to inspire and encourage others. I have always believed that if I can do it, so can you.

You'll find resources (my favorite supplies, books, slideshows of my art journal pages, favorite bloggers, etc...) listed along the right hand side of my blog.

I've been teaching both in person and online workshops for more than twenty years. You can find out more about my classes by scrolling down along the right hand side of my blog. I strive to make classes accessible to everyone (both beginner to advanced).

I love teaching and truly believe that deep down inside everyone is an artist, capable of creating something. There is power and knowledge in the act of creating something with your own hands, made from your own heart and head.

If you have any questions, please feel free to email me at EGorey99@sbcglobal.net

Thanks for stopping by!

Back to reality...

Mom left yesterday morning. There's still a huge pile of STUFF that has to be put away in the living room. Bills to be paid. Dust bunnies to conquer (heh heh, not). Laundry to be done. All I want to do is sleep and relax. I want to read my new book that I bought last week and have been waiting years for. I want to remember the memories of the past two weeks traveling to both Oregon and Arizona. Teaching workshops at Art On A Lark and Frenzy Stamper. Seeing lots of old friends and making several new ones. No more traveling road trips until December. Lots of local classes over the next few months.

My head is still spinning with new ideas. Time to let them percolate.

Can I also just share with you how happy I am that Fall is here and it actually feels like it?

I just bought this book and am saving it for this weekend and the beach! Hope it's as good as it looks. Will see you again in November for classes. So busy here, that I feel like I'm running in circles just to catch up!
