two page spread-
Do you think I have enough pens? My students will be happy with LOTS of new pens next class!! I spent some time Friday night sorting through my pens dividing them into different bags-pens to give to my cousin (bag on the left), pens for my students (see the big, fat, bursting at the seams bag in the middle-that's for class use-woo hoo!) and pens to keep for "later" (the bag on the right). The black bag is THE bag. The one I have been waiting for the mailman to bring!
I was tempted and eventually succumbed to buying a new pen bag. I wanted something small,
yet able to fit my favorites pens, my scissors and a bone folder. I found THE bag on jetpens.com. It was like Christmas. I was THAT excited!!!!!!
It holds all of my sakura glaze and souffle pens, all of my pencils I use, my sharpie water based poster paint pens, my nexus pens, my uniballs, etc... I am a woman on a mission-organizing and cleaning like there is no tomorrow! I told David and Tristan to smack me if I buy another pen EVER. I have enough pens for the rest of MANY lives. At least my students will be very happy finding a big fat bag full of nice new pens for use in classes!!!
I also bought some other store containers (not from jet pens. I will tell you more about these later on when I'm done filling them up).

We went for a walk last night to Barnes and Noble at the Grove. I bought the last copy of Angela Cartwright and Sarah Fishburn's In This Garden. My only fault with this book is that I'm not in it (big grin!) It is GORGEOUS. Really. What I love is that it's not a how-to. I'm not a big fan of how-to's . I want to see ART. All of the artists in this book should be commended on creating yet another fabulous publication chock full of yummy art! I'll be snuggling up with this one again tonight.

Speaking of yummy, must read books. I finished Molly Wizenberg's A Homemade Life. I. Loved. It. It's one of the best memoir books I've ever read. Not only does she know how to hook you in with her writing, but she also reels you in with her recipes. You're practically licking the pages they sound so good. It's heartfelt, real and damn good. I've spent the last two nights reading past 1 a.m. laughing, crying and smiling over it. I couldn't put it down. Get a copy for you, your mother, your brother in law and your best friend. It's that good. You need it. Trust me.

Sharon-it holds LOTS of pens, but not all of my pens...but that's 'cause I have duplicates and triplicates and quadruplicates -lol of my pens. For normal people (shush), it would be perfect! It is perfect for me, too but I condensed the amount of pens I have!

Tasha,
Are you kidding me? That would take too long!!!

SHARYN, my long lost COUSIN, yes, I remember you..you're the one who has just as much stuff as I do ;)

Love the pages and that bag. I have a lot of pens but certainly not that many. LOL I think I could use that bag instead of trying to fit the pens I love in several different medium ones. It's annoying. Why can't they make a great pen bag. Maybe this is the answer.

Hi there, I read the bulding manager story, what an asshole that guy. I find miself in a similar situation, where the building managaer is no good, and totally careless. Now, how can u actually kick out the building manager, besides complaints?
