Another journal page from while I was in Scottsdale:Holy Effing Mail Day, Batman!
While I was away, I had several packages show up at my doorstep (it's always that way...)
Who did I receive package from?

TAPE and STICKERS-From Japan With Love-I *love* this seller SO much that I have ordered multiple times and I am NEVER disappointed. I actually placed two orders within a 24 hour time period-scary! One arrived Friday and the next on Saturday. For being in Japan, the orders come fast for me!

BOOKLETS and CLASS KITS-Juliana Coles! Every time I blink it seems Juliana is listing booklets that I don't own on etsy! :) While these are perfect as little class kits, I actually treat them as Zines or books. I love looking at her artwork!! She's one of my most favorite artists! I love all of her kits but her $50 ones are AMAZING!

TWO PACKS OF DECO TAPE FROM JAPAN-Raewadolly's Etsy shop! This is my first time ordering from this seller. I picked up a pack of tapes for a "surprise" for a friend. I'm pleased with my order!!

THE CUTEST BOOK EVER FROM JENNY IN ISRAEL-Behappynow's etsy shop! I found this little book online and fell in love with it! It's so cute-it fits in the palm of your hand!!

8 MINI PILES OF PAPER, 4 PILES OF PAPER, and SEVERAL STICKER SHEETS LATER-One Good BumbleBee's order came! Wowzas!! I was ECSTATIC looking at the various papers and packs last night. Two big thumbs up!! I "won" a 50% off coupon in a give away she had, and I put it to damn good use! This is my second order from Bumblebee and I LOVE her stuff!

And yes, Kelly has enough shit to last her a lifetime and the only other thing on my "buy" list this month is the new Lynda Barry book that comes out in LESS than a week!!!!!!!! EEEH!! I can't wait! I have been waiting WELL over a YEAR (I think it's been at least two years since I knew about it-at least!!) for this book. If anyone doesn't think that Free Comic Book Day is a GOOD thing, they're crazy. Last year D & Q gave away a "sampler" of Barry's What It Is which made me want the damn thing EVEN MORE.

*****

Criswell predicts that when Kelly goes to Boston in August for two weeks, that will be when Lynda Barry comes to Los Angeles. Trust me, it ALWAYS happens this way. (I can't tell you how many times I have missed Michael Palin coming into town to sign books because I have gone away...I have also missed Audrey Niffenegger, Anne Lamott, etc.. No one comes to town WHEN I AM HOME.) Damnit!

You find the best tape! Too bad by the time I get to the shop it's gone. I saw the skull tape and checked out the Etsy shop only to find they didn't have any more :( but I still managed to find some I didn't have. I love their shop too. It's amazing how fast they ship. I'm still searching for the cityscape tape you found a while ago too. One day I'll find it. I did an online search for skull & heart tape and came across just skull tape at a store called Necromanse (on Melrose). Have you ever been there? Good/bad review.

I've purchased a few of Juliana's books too. I haven't gotten any of the kits, but they're on my wish list. I'd love to have them all. I need to hit the lottery with all the 'wants' I have.

I love all the goodies you got in the mail and at Frenzy. Those Stampotique stamps are great. I now have them on my list as well. I want you to know you're not alone with your rub on addiction. I just can't pass them up!

Oh...and I noticed in the photo, the picture of the NMBC box and Mars Attacks weapon. I'm a big fan of Tim Burton too and have a lot of his stuff. Since it seems like you're a collector to I have a favor to ask (if it's not too presumptuous). If you ever see the NMBC salt & pepper shaker that say "Frog's Breath and Deadly Night Shade" would you please let me know? I've been looking for them for years.

Thanks again for sharing all your goodies and spending my money! lol

Cheers,
D in FL
