Another post today??

I thought I'd balance off the negative review of Acapulco with a positive review of one of my most favorite books. I picked it up again and am now reading it for the second? third? fourth? time. Audrey Niffenegger's The Time Traveler's Wife-

I can't tell you everything that I love about this book because it IS everything that I love about the book. I love the style. I love the way the book flows. I love that Clare is a paper artist. I love Henry. I love Clare. I love the characters in the book-even the ones that you just want to smack-they fit into the book. I love that the author is an artist. Did I tell you I have two copies of the book? I have the original hardcover and I recently bought a paperback version of it for $2. The paperback is by the side of my bed and I have been diving in and wrapping myself in its pages for the last few nights. If you don't know about Audrey and her work, check out the links here. She has more then one book available and all are worthy of sitting on your shelf!!

I bought this book, Big Book of Fashion Illustration the other day:
Though, it's not as good as the Age of Feminine Drawing, it's still worth a look!

Off to Tristan's ortho appointment!

I absolutely loved The Time Traveler's Wife!! I listened to it on tape and the readers were so good. I just might have to check it out again next time I'm at the library. Such a clever story and, like you said, the characters were just wonderful. Yep, I'm going to have to listen to it again ...

I love Time Traveler's Wife! I've heard a lot of people complain about how confusing it is to read, but I found that just relaxing into it always works. Suddenly it all makes sense...
