Best billboard I've seen in a long time...

Taken tonight in front of Soap Plant/Wacko in Hollywood...Yes, that is an AT & T ad with an added graffiti bonus!!

And just so you know, Catalina Estrada (yes, those are her scrumptious paintings above-YUM) and Mark Todd both have an exhibit at La Luz Gallery (Soap Plant/Wacko) running Nov 2-Dec 2nd (though all of the postcards I have say December so I was quite surprised to see the show up already). Oh wow. Oh wow. Oh WOW. If you have the opportunity to ever see Catalina's work in the flesh, do so! You don't get the detail and up close little bits that you'll miss in the book...Looks like she puts acrylics in squeeze bottles for flourishes, dots, lines and more for a 3-D look. I also loved the hand cut stencils on the wall. You can see the art at the La Luz site.
Next month they are having an exhibit with Jordan Isip.
