Two of the six pages I worked on yesterday:

The above page was made from layered papers, a "found" image, Sakura Gelly Roll Glaze pens, Mrs Grossman stickers (the circle thingees), and Sharpie Poster Paint (waterbased) markers.
I forget where I got the image above (the woman with the water hose) but I loved it! She was cut kinda funky but she worked perfectly for the page. I used a variety of papers from my stash to finish off the page. The hose is "extended" using a Sakura Gelly Roll Glaze pen.

You can see the original "pages" before being collaged on yesterday's post, Sunday April 8th. It's the very first one at the top.

Oh yeah, and I am still happily using a glue stick. When it's for ME and it's MY journal it's always a glue stick (Scotch permanent, pioneer permanent, borderline permanent). When it's to sell or whatever it's Gel Medium (I like Gloss...)

I have more pages that I'm saving for tomorrow...or later on today if I break down and can't wait any longer (LOL). I've decided that I have an abundance of images (ha ha ha) for now-that thought will probably last a day or two and I'll break down! I need to use what I have (and what I buy) instead of making copies...so I'm trying to push myself and use the "treasured" images I've been hoarding thinking that I can always copy the journal pages! Smarty pants :)

The last day of vacation was wonderful yesterday. I spent it blissfully in my pajamas all day long! Tristan had fun in the morning with his basket and searching for Easter eggs. I did get some work done but spent most of the day either hanging out with Tristan and playing or working in my journal. It was pure bliss. I thought that today would be hard going back to school (which in my little brain it always is-ugh ugh) but luckily Tristan was up beat. He got out of bed without any fuss. Walking to school he ran into another friend and they discussed The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy Big Boogie Adventure and how cool that special was (LOL-ok, even I think Fred Fred Burger is funny).

Total WOW artwork by Adriane Giberson.

Interesting "news" item of the day:

File under WTF was this guy thinking?!?!?!? OH, maybe he was thinking that Cheney would be next in line and that is SCARY

Ford Motor CEO Saves Bush From Setting Himself on Fire
And finally the CEO of Ford Motor Company is being credited with literally saving President Bush's life. Alan Mulally said the president almost plugged an electrical cord into the hydrogen tank of a special Ford hybrid vehicle at the White House last week. Mulally said he violated protocol and grabbed the president"s arm to prevent Bush from setting himself on fire.

Thanks to Keri Smith for this one. Ya gotta love David Lynch...he speaks his mind (and the truth, eh?) Living in L.A. I get pretty darn sick of seeing ads everywhere...
