Happy 10th Birthday, Tristan!!

Had a great day teaching with the Stampin from the Heart Gang! Thanks ladies for a fun day!!! (I'm looking forward to Wednesday night, Feb 7th when I will be back there with a BRAND new class called Composition/Design 101 COLLAGE style!!! FUN!

Tristan's special day is today so this post will be brief!!

MAJOR disappointment with a book that arrived yesterday from Amazon. I ordered this book:
Wallpaper by Lachlan Blackley

What I should have bought instead was this book:
The Cutting Edge of Wallpaper by Hanaor

This is one of the many reasons why I *hate* ordering stuff online. I am a "touchy feely" kinda girl. I need to open the book and SEE what is in it page by page. I took a chance on ordering the 1st Wallpaper book THINKING that it would be DIFFERENT then The Cutting Edge of Wallpaper. GUESS WHAT? It's pretty much the same damn book BUT with "some" of the "good" stuff from Cutting edge of W.P. taken OUT. GRRR. I am annoyed. I HATE that. There are some other publishers that do that-"rename, relabel" old books and put them out as "NEW" books with NEW titles. NOT good. NOT right.

There are some good ideas in the Wall Paper book but not that many for $26 (amazon price) $40 retail. :P *RAZZZZ*

Hey Kelly, just an idea... I always get duplicates if books at Christmas and I return them to Borders instead of Amazon where my family bought them (So much easier!). Anyway, the bonus is the merchandise credit you get is always for more than the book cost originally. I'm spending the $ in the store, so it doesn't seem like a problem (besides, Amazon is Borders online). So, just a hint in case this book is really that bad.
