What You'll Find Here

I post daily (photos of my journal pages, things that inspire me and personal bits and pieces) to inspire and encourage others. I have always believed that if I can do it, so can you.

You'll find resources (my favorite supplies, books, slideshows of my art journal pages, favorite bloggers, etc...) listed along the right hand side of my blog.

I've been teaching both in person and online workshops for almost twenty years now. You can find out more about my classes by scrolling down along the right hand side of my blog. I strive to make classes accessible to everyone (both beginner to advanced).

I love teaching and truly believe that deep down inside everyone is an artist, capable of creating something. There is power and knowledge in the act of creating something with your own hands, made from your own heart and head.

If you have any questions, please feel free to email me at EGorey99@sbcglobal.net

Jet Pens: Lihit Lab Teffa Bag in Bag: Wine

Lihit Lab Teffa Bag in Bag - A5 - Limited Edition - Wine Red - LIHIT LAB A-7553-29
As part of their sponsorship program, JetPens sent me a $25 gift certificate to play with. I always have a hard time narrowing down the pens that I want to try but here's what I bought this time for February:

Lihit Lab Teffa Bag in Bag - A5 - Limited Edition - Wine Red (small)

Lihit Lab Teffa Bag in Bag - A4 - Limited Edition - Wine Red (large)

Note that the small one is small. The scissors don't fit well nor do large pens. Both the scissors and large pens fit comfortably in the A4 size.

The bag opens up and you can fit a thin journal with collage papers, stencils, etc... inside:

I'm thinking that the bags would be the perfect size (depending on the size of your journal at the time) for on the go art making. I like how I can fill it with what I need, throw it in a bag and it's there when I want/need it to be. I may end up buying another one for David as he likes to take his notebook and pens with him and the small size would be perfect for him.

Ahh, bags and art supplies. How they go hand in hand.
