What You'll Find Here

I post daily (photos of my journal pages, things that inspire me and personal bits and pieces) to inspire and encourage others. I have always believed that if I can do it, so can you.

You'll find resources (my favorite supplies, books, slideshows of my art journal pages, favorite bloggers, etc...) listed along the right hand side of my blog.

I've been teaching both in person and online workshops for almost twenty years now. You can find out more about my classes by scrolling down along the right hand side of my blog. I strive to make classes accessible to everyone (both beginner to advanced).

I love teaching and truly believe that deep down inside everyone is an artist, capable of creating something. There is power and knowledge in the act of creating something with your own hands, made from your own heart and head.

If you have any questions, please feel free to email me at EGorey99@sbcglobal.net

Thanks for stopping by!

Cut and Paste

All prepped and ready for my (sniff) last Sunday class at Stampin from the Heart. Gotta nab some yummy goodies in the morning for class. I plan on keeping everyone deep in art, fun and food!

Spending today in my journal working in a new project as well as trying to get a little more studio area cleaning done (studio means my little corner of the living room.) I've been weeding out what I'm not using. Some stuff will be donated. I'm tossing what is dried up. Thinking of having another in person or even a virtual garage sale for some of the other stuff. Always something to think about...

Hope your Saturday is a peaceful one.

I love that top page with your statement of being your true self in your journal - love how you share on your blog and in your classes. Inspired by the material in your Journey Within class. Off to dive back into my journal. Happy weekend

I need to do a studio clean and purge. How do you decide what to keep and what to donate. What are examples of donations you have made? Have you ever had regrets about what you have tossed and given away? Thanks for sharing more details on your strategy for lightening up your art supply stock.
